Travel Guide

San Vicente

San Vicente is a hidden gem located in the northern part of Palawan, Philippines. Known for its beautiful landscapes, pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rich natural resources, San Vicente is an emerging tourist destination that has begun to gain recognition for its untouched beauty. It is a peaceful and less commercialized alternative to other popular destinations in Palawan, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking to escape the crowds and enjoy nature in its most pristine form.

Location

San Vicente is located on the western coast of Palawan, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) north of Puerto Princesa, the capital city of Palawan. The area is surrounded by lush forests, clear lagoons, and a beautiful coastline. The region’s natural beauty, combined with its quiet atmosphere, makes it a great destination for those looking to enjoy peace and tranquility in a tropical paradise.

Long Beach

(San Vicente's Famous Attraction)

One of the main attractions of San Vicente is its Long Beach, which stretches for around 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) along the coastline. This is one of the longest white sand beaches in the Philippines, if not in the world, and it's still relatively undeveloped, making it a fantastic place to relax, swim, and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

The Long Beach is often quieter compared to other famous beaches in Palawan, such as El Nido and Coron, providing visitors with an opportunity to unwind and experience its natural beauty without the crowds. The beach is lined with palm trees and offers excellent views of the surrounding islands and crystal-clear waters.
